DON PABLOS BRANDY BUTTER SAUCE
1 1/2 sticks (3/4 cup) salted butter 1/2 cup powdered sugar 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon 1 tbsp. brandy (used a moderately priced brand, Christian Brothers) 1 tbsp. Dekuyper ButterShots
Melt butter in sauce pan over low heat. Add powder sugar, cinnamon, brandy and buttershots. Increase heat to medium low and allow the mixture to gently boil for a minute or two. Serve warm
Note: The mixture will have a caramel tone to it instead of the butter looking tone that the sauce has at the restaraunt (my guess is that a colorless cinnamon may be used?). And upon first taste, it will not be quite as strong as the restaurant version, however after a few bites the strength of the flavor will catch up and leave that nice warm lasting aftertaste in your mouth.
