CAPPUCCINO CANDY
1 cup butter 16 ounces brown sugar 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk 1 cup corn syrup 3 tablespoons instant coffee crystals 1/2 teaspoon finely shredded orange peel (1/2 to 1 tsp) 1 cup chopped walnuts 1 teaspoon vanilla
Line an 8x8x2-inch pan with foil and butter the foil.
Melt butter in a 3 quart sauce pan. Add brown sugar, sweetened condensed milk, light corn syrup, instant coffee crystals, and orange peel. Cook over medium heat until candy thermometer reaches 248 degrees F.
Remove pan from heat and add walnuts and vanilla. Pour into prepared pan. Chill until set.
Cut into 3/4 inch squares and put into candy cups.
