FROZEN CHOCOLATE-TOFFEE BANANAS3 bananas
1/3 cup toffee chips
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Peel bananas and cut each one in half widthwise. Insert wooden stick into end of each half. Place on large plate lined with parchment or waxed paper. Freeze 30 minutes.
Put toffee on medium plate.
Put chocolate in medium but wide microwavable bowl. Microwave on high power until partly melted, 2 minutes. Stir. Microwave until hot and runny, about 1 minute. Stir until smooth.
Using stick, hold 1 banana over bowl. Use back of spoon to smear with chocolate until coated.
Hold banana over toffee plate. Sprinkle liberally with toffee chips, pressing into chocolate if necessary.
Return coated bananas to the plate with parchment or waxed paper. Repeat with remaining bananas. If chocolate thickens too much, warm 30 seconds in microwave at high power. You will have some toffee left over.
Freeze at least 30 minutes or up to several days.
If bananas become too hard to bite, let sit 5 to 10 minutes at room temperature.
