was a baker for many years...here are several tips and my standard recipe for any boxed cake mix: 1 box cake mix (doesn't matter if pudding in mix) 1 cup buttermilk, 1/2 c. wesson oil, 1 sm pkg. INSTANT pudding, (any flavor, complimenting your choice of cake mix) 4 large eggs) mix, but don't overmix, bake at 350 till slightly underdone. This is the mistake most people make......overcooking..cake will continue to cook after you take it from the over from internal heat....i can't tell you how long to cook it because everybodys oven is different...let me know how this works for you...everyone always wants ME to bake the cakes...haha
