Orange Crush Pound Cake I have not tried this one yet but it looks good. Someone gave me the recipe, they have tried it thou. 1 1/2 cups margarine or butter 3 C. sugar 5 eggs 3 C. flour 1 teaspoon lemon extract 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 3/4 Cup Orange Crush drink Margarine and eggs should be at room temperature. Cream sugar and margarine until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well. Add flour. Beat in lemon and vanilla extracts and Orange Crush drink. Pour batter into a well greased and floured 10" tube pan and bake at 325 degrees for 1 to 1 1/4 hours. Cool in pan about 20 minutes before turning out. Variation: Add 1 teaspoon each of vanilla, lemon, coconut and rum flavorings to batter. Glaze: 1 teaspoon almond extract 1/2 C. sugar 1/3 C. water Glaze cake with ingredients which have been brought to a boil. Pour over cool cake.
