SALT FREE WHITE BREAD
5 3/4 to 6 3/4 cups of unsifted flour, divided use 2 tablespoons sugar 1 package Fleischmann's Active Dry Yeast 1/4 cup Fleischmann's soft unsalted margarine 2 cups of very warm tap water (120-130 degrees F)
Mix 2 cups of flour, sugar, and undissolved yeast. Add margarine. Add water and beat for 2 minutes at medium speed.
Add 1/2 cup of flour. Beat at high speed for 2 minutes.
Stir in enough flour to make a stiff dough. Turn out onto floured board, knead until smooth and elastic, about 8 to 10 minutes. Place in greased bowl, turn to grease top. Cover, let rise in warm place, until doubled, about 1 hour.
Punch dough down, turn out onto floured board. Divide in half. Shape each into a loaf. Place in 2 greased 9x5x3-inch loaf pans. Cover, let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
Bake at 400 degrees F for 35 minutes or until done.
