Hello. I have a Galloping Gourmet Perfection-Aire Oven. It is made by Desconic or so the book says. We are moving and I am going to sell it as I will have a convection oven that comes with my new house. The phone number I have is no longer good but maybe you can write the company at 2159 Tamiami Trail, Venice, FL. I am still trying to find out the oringinal cost. If you find out please let me know. Thank you, Terri, Sterling Heights, MI.
One of the receipes is as follows.
Orange Spareribs
3 lbs. pork spareribs, trimmed
Marinade 2 oranges 2 Tbsp. honey 1 Tbsp. lemon juice 1 Tbsp. Worchestire sauce 1 tsp. soy sauce
Cut ribs into serving pieces and set aside.
Grate peel of one orange and scrape into saucepan along with juice of both oranges, honey, lemon juice, Worch. sauce and soy sauce. Bring to simmer ove medium heat. Stirring occasionally, cook for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and cool throughly.
After cooled pour over ribs, cover and refrigerate at least 4 hours.
When ready to cook, place wire rack into glass bowl of oven. Preheat to 400 degrees.
Drain marinade off ribs reserving marinade for bastng. Arrange ribs directly on wire rack and cook for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 375 degrees and cook another 35 minutes. Baste and turn ribs every 15 minutes.
Good luck
