FROZEN STRAWBERRY YOGURT

"One of the gems of the frozen food aisle is prepped frozen fruit. What better way to use it than in a creamy "homemade" frozen dessert, made with one of the dairy section's best, nonfat plain yogurt.

When you process this, it might sound like a jackhammer is demolishing your kitchen, but the results are well worth it. Creamy, fruity frozen yogurt at your fingertips! Guaranteed to be your newest addiction."

1 (16 ounce) package frozen whole strawberries or other berries
1 (7 ounce) container nonfat or low-fat plain yogurt
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar

In a food processor, pulse strawberries a few times to break up slightly. With the motor running, finely chop the fruit. Scrape the bowl as needed.

Add the yogurt and sugar, and process until creamy and smooth; this will take 1 to 2 minutes to fully incorporate the yogurt and fruit. Serve immediately.

Makes 4 servings
