Aunt Florence's Pie Crust Cookies
My cousin Linda wrote: When I was little and Mom made a pie, she would always do this with the left-over crust:
Roll to very thin. Spread one side with butter, and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Beginning at one end, roll the dough and cut in to one inch pieces. Bake until golden brown
Mom made a similar treat. Linda brought back some pleasant memories. The smell of cinnamon--talk about comfort food!
