Very Berry Lemonade
5 cups water 1 cup sugar 1 1/2 cups fresh or frozen berries 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice ice
Combine water & sugar in large saucepan. Bring to boil over high heat, stirring to dissolve sugar. Remove from heat. Chill one hour. Puree berries with one cup of the sugar syrup in a blender. Strain into 2 quart pitcher. Add remaining syrup and lemon juice. Stir well. Serve over ice.
