This is my version of the requested recipe.
I toasted the sourdough bread and then cooked the eggs as if for an omelet. When the eggs were done, I put a slice of swiss cheese on one piece of toast, added sliced ham, the eggs, and then a slice of american cheese on the eggs and the second piece of toast. My husband loved it and it is very close to what is served at Denny's. You could add more cheese if you prefer a cheesier sandwich.
