In response to Aimee's recipe that was posted, I too tried it. We loved the one's at Sam's Club, but here they are $8.59, which I thought was high for what are essentially "cookies". So, I tried the recipe she suggested, and it came out pretty good. I used 1c of butter as opposed to her 3/4. I have a gas oven and after 13 mins of baking they were golden. You can eye it, and also just observe the texture of the dough. I could tell that I needed more butter because the dough was too loose and crumbly, more like granola. The first batch was a little dry, so I added the extra butter (1/4c) and about another 2T of honey to the rest of my mixture and they were great! They aren't identical, but very good.
