We have had much success with pork ribs! Buy the meaty kind that come from the end of the pork loin. The secret is to marinate and cook ahead of time. We have 3 children, they like this recipe.

Marinade: (for 2 lb. meat)
1 cup orange juice
1/4 cup maple syrup
4 crushed garlic cloves
1/2 t. thyme
some grated orange peel

Marinate the chops/ribs for 6 hours or overnite. Cook at 350 degree oven for 35-40 minutes, basting occasionally. Store until ready to finish on the grill. Grill at med. high for about 10 minutes.

Of course, you can also try this technique with your favorite BBQ sauce or marinade.
