The Amish Cook's Peanut Butter Cookie Recipe (from the Elizabeth Coblentz newspaper column)
4 tbsp butter 1/2 c brown sugar 1/2 c white sugar 1 egg 1 c flour 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 c peanut butter
1. Cream butter and sugars together. Add egg and mix lightly. 2. Sift flour and baking soda together. Add to butter/sugar mixture and mix well. Add peanut butter and mis well. Roll into small balls. 3. Place of cookie sheet and form criss-cross pattern with fork. 4. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.
