1/3 c peanut butter
1/4 c maple flavored syrup
2 tbsp firmly packed brown sugar
3 c coarsely crushed Quaker 100% Natural Ceral, original, (about 3 1/2 c cereal)

combine all ingredients except cereal in 1 qt saucepan. bring to a boil. simmer over med heat about 3 min. stirring constantly. pour over cereal. mix well. press into greased 8 inch square baking pan. chill til firm. cut into bars. store in refrigerator.

Here's another one

1/2 c shortening
1 c firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg

preheat to 350. grease cookie sheet. in small bowl, combine flour, soda, and salt. in large bowl, beat together shrotening, sugar, egg, milk, and vanilla untilcreamy. add flour mixture. mix well. stir in cereal. crop by tspfuls onto prepared cookie sheet. bake 10 to 12 min.
