I used to make fudge with marshmallow creme & thought that I got the creamiest fudge. Then, I went to a chocolate class at the local grocery store. The following is the easiest & creamiest fudge. So easy, my kids can do it.

FUDGE
16 oz chocolate chips (can use 1/2 milk chocolate & 1/2 semisweet or 1/2 chocolate & 1/2 peanut butter chips or all peanut butter chips)
1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk (NOT EVAPORATED!)
1 cup broken walnuts or pecans, optional
1/2 tsp vanilla

*Heat chocolate over double boiler until melted, stirring frequently. Remove from heat & stir in sweetened condensed milk and vanilla. Quickly stir in nuts & pour into a greased 8X8 inch pan. Cool at room temperature until firm. Cut into squares. Fudge freezes well. You can also use this as centers for dipped chocolates.

*Instead of using a double boiler, you can MICROWAVE the chocolate or peanut butter chips according to the bag, until melted. Proceed with the recipe as written.

This is the best fudge!!!
