CRANBERRY-APPLE-NUT PIE
1 pkg. pie crust mix 1 1-lb. can whole berry cranberry sauce 1/2 cup chopped nuts 3 medium apples, cored and finely chopped 1/2 cup seedless raisins 1/2 cup sugar 3 tbsp. flour 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 2 tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
Prepare pie crust according to package directions. Shape 2/3 of the pastry into flat round and roll out to form circle large enough to line bottom and sides of ungreased 9-inch pie pan, allowing pie crust to hang over edge of pan about 1 inch. Combine remaining ingredients and put into pastry-lined pan. Roll out remaining pastry and cut into 1/2-inch strips. Attach strips to rim of shell, press and twist strips across filling. Press firmly. Fold excess pastry over strips, flute edge. Bake pie in 425 degree oven 40 to 50 minutes or until filling bubbles and crust is browned. Serve warm. Yield: 1 9-inch pie.
