I found this one and it looks good... ======================== Triple Layer Brownies
Bottom Layer:
1 C. quick-cook rolled oats 1/2 C. all-purpose flour 1/2 C. brown sugar, packed 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 6 T. butter or margarine, melted
Combine first five ingredients, then add melted margarine. Mix well, pat into 11 x 7 1/2 x 1 1/2 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 10 minutes.
Middle Layer:
2/3 C. all purpose flour 1/4 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 C. milk 1/2 tsp. vanilla 3/4 C. granulated sugar 1/4 C. butter or margarine, melted 1 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled 1 egg
In small bowl, combine dry ingredients. In separate bowl, combine milk and vanilla. Set aside. In large bowl combine sugar, butter and melted chocolate; add egg. Beat well. Add flour mixture in small amounts, alternating with milk mixture, stirring well after each addition. Spread over baked bottom layer, bake at 350 degrees F. for 25 minutes. Cool.
Top Layer:
1 oz. unsweetened chocolate 2 T. butter or margarine 1 1/2 C. sifted powdered sugar 1 tsp. vanilla Hot water (about 2 T.) 1/2 C. chopped walnuts (Optional)
Melt chocolate and butter in small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat when melted, stir in sugar and vanilla. Blend in hot water to make almost pourable consistancy. Spread over middle layer, top with walnuts if desired. Cool, cut, and enjoy!
