your resipe sounds great.
i have a resipe for peanut-butter turtles:

1/2cup of butter, (room temp.)
1/2cup smooth or crunchy peanut butter
3/4cup packed brown sugar
1/4cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4cupa all-purpose flower
1 teaspoon bakeing soda
3tablespoons granulated sugar
48 milk-cholate candy kisses,(unwrapped)

preheat oven to (190c) in medium bowl, beat together butter,peanutbutter,brown sugar,1/4cup granulated sugar,egg,vanilla,and saltuntil light and fluffy. add flower & bakeing soda, beating until thorougly blended shape dough into 48 balls, using a rounded teaspoon for each roll balls in 3 tablespoons granulated sugar place 2 inches apart on an ungreased bakeing sheets bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light golden immediately top each cookie with a candy kiss, carefully pressing down firmly remove cookies from bakeing sheets, cool on racks. (makes:48[1-3/4-inch cookies]).
