3 cups sugar
1/2 lb. marg.
5 or 6 eggs separated
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
3 cups pl. flour
1/4 tsp. soda
1/2 to 1/2 tsp. salt
Preheat oven to 300. Cream sugar and marg.. Add egg yolks one at a time beating
well after each yolk. Add sour cream and mix. Add flavoring. Mix in 1 cup
flour. Beat egg white until they form a peak fold into cake batter. Add
remaining dry ingredients. Pour into well greased and floured pan. Bake for 1
hour to 1 hour and a half. This is a very good cake
