Hi Diana,

Here are some tips that I found and a couple of photos (these are cute!) I hope they're a help to you. We'd love if you'd share any tips and pictures of the cupcakes if you try it.

Happy Baking!

Ice Cream Cone Cupcake Pan

A Kid's Review (from Amazon)
This is a neat product. Here are some things to take into consideration:

- Storage of these cupcakes can be tricky. They don't stand by themselves for very long, so decorating them can be challenging. I ended up putting them in shot glasses while I decorated them. I only decorated the ones we were going to eat right away, which made things easier. I stored the un-iced cupcakes upside-down in a cake carrier.

- I also learned that the premade frosting sold next to the cake mixes is VERY rich on these large cupcakes. A lighter homemade frosting (for example, a powdered sugar frosting) would be tastier.

- The instructions with these pans are limited, so I wasn't sure how much batter to pour into each mold. I poured until the batter was about 1/2 an inch from the top. This was just right. The cupcakes were the right size and there was just enough batter for the 12 molds.
