MAKE-A-MIX TACO SEASONING2 teaspoons dried minced onion 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon chili powder 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch 1/2 teaspoon crushed dried red pepper 1/2 teaspoon dried minced garlic 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin. For one envelope (about 2 tbsp): Combine all ingredients, and store in an airtight container or in a 6 inch square of aluminum foil, folded tightly. Use within 6 months. To use: Brown 1 pound of ground beef and drain the grease. Add 1/2 cup water and the Taco Seaasoning Mix. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
