CHILI DOGS
1 clove garlic, minced 1/2 cup chopped onion 1 Tbsp. oil 1/2 lb. ground beef 1/2 cup Del Monte Tomato Catsup 1 (8 oz.) can DEL MONTE Tomato Sauce 3/4 tsp. chili powder 8 frankfurters 8 hot dog rolls (optional) 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Saute garlic and onion in hot oil. Add meat; brown and drain.
Stir in catsup, tomato sauce, and chili powder. Simmer gently 15 minutes.
Slice frankfurters lengthwise about halfway through; broil, turning once.
Place frankfurters on individual serving dishes (on hot dog rolls, if desired). Pour chili sauce over frankfurters; top with cheese.
